Desert Jasmine Enterprises, LLC (DJE) is a Self-certified Disadvantaged Woman-owned Business. Desert Jasmine Enterprises, LLC, Dragon Maintenance, and OmniBIOS Comuputer Services, have joined an umbrella company that operates like an ongoing joint ventures. The umbrella company is Access Income Property Builders. Together, we three comapnies provide small-scale eco-friendly, custom, janitorial, landscaping, and handyman services. Our commitment to excellence in caring for environment motivates us to work towards a zero carbon foot print.  To this end we use eco-friendly products and procedures, we recycle, reuse, and reduce, and we also to purchase carbon credits through Carbonfund.org. In addition, we also purchase the planting of fast-growing trees through Newtrees.org or for our national parks through Nationalforests.org.  Founded in 2007, we seek to provide  stellar services to banks, corporations, home owners, government agencies, income property owners, specialty construction companies, small businesses, and realtors, in the Denver Metro Area, and the surrounding region. 


Expertise


Dragon Maintenance has established its expertise providing a comprehensive array of conventional handyman services. OmniBIOS has established itself as a PC repair specialist. DJE had established its expertise is in environmentally friendly and  hypoallergenic janitorial services for offices and residential properties by providing detailed janitorial services for an upscale boutique, medical facilities, and offices, seeking to emerging into the area of expertise that consists primarily of installing turn-key kits for sheds, wheelchair ramps, play sets, Tiny Houses, and passive solar, earth-sheltered houses.

Experience

For the last 20 years, the principles of  Dragon Maintenance have compiled experience in various aspects of property and facilities management; 18 years of experience in a comprehensive array of handyman services. OmniBIOS Computer Services, Inc, has seven years of impressive experience in PC maintenance and repair. Stulos aka Desert Jasmine Enterprises, LLC, has 5 years of experience in cleaning facilities for custodial care for the handicapped, elderly and terminally ill, eight years of experience in volunteer events and project management, four years of experience in janitorial contract management, three years of experience in residential property management, two years of experience in computer moving, setup, networking, maintenance, and repair, 19 months of experience in carpentry, two years of experience in landscape maintenance and tree planting, and one year of experience in selling low-cost medical alert bracelets, and hypoallergenic products.  Also, during the same last 20 years, key personnel at Stulos have worked in one capacity or another as laborers, janitors, maintenance personnel, security guards, medical support staff, apprentice craftsman, teachers, and emergency personnel. So, Stulos is an emerging, but capable, company that is positioning itself to provide hard-to-find eco-friendly and hypoallergenic niche products and services. We have two principles and two subcontractors. Our gross income for the last four years has been around $4,000. We are disadvantaged. 


Desert Jasmine Concepts as a Small Business

Desert Jasmine Enterprises, LLC's General Manger, Gladys Smith-Duran has completed training through the SBA, including the GSA Pathway to Success Certification training. A. David Duran, manages our company's IT concerns and lawn and garden maintenance responsibilities. 

Gladys is the point of contact handling all of the details of the purchase of products and services. She delegates the work to all other principles, key personnel, and contractors, and subcontractors, as needed. Handyman related operations are delegated to Tim Schwartz. Computer related operations, lawn and garden maintenance responsibilities are delegated to A David Duran. Gladys writes the initial drafts of the proposals, mentor-protegee agreements, and the teaming agreements. Gladys refers to the Colorado Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) and/ or the SBA Teaming Pilot Program, and/or other SBA resources, and/or the Mi Casa Resource Center for Women, to quality assure that she is meeting the standards for all micro-purchases, SAP proposals, subcontract agreements and teaming agreements. We make no outlay. Projects that require an outlay cannot be accepted, unless outlays can be negotiated under a mentor-protegee agreement. Customers purchase materials. Labor is due upon completion of job, unless the job runs for more than one week. Then labor is due at the completion of each inspectable task. In the future, contracts with outlays can be negotiated under a mentor-protegee agreement. The final drafts of all mentor-protegee agreements and teaming agreements are completed with the assistance of the Colorado Procurement Technical Assistance Center and submitted by Gladys. After award of contract, the purchase request returns to Gladys, who completes the purchase orders for all products, materials, and services according to the specifications of all pertinent contracts. Next, she plans, organizes, directs, and safety and quality assurance evaluates, her staff and subcontractors according to the mentor/protegee or teaming agreement.

When the work is completed Gladys and David provide customer service so that our products or services meet the requirements of the COTR the CO, or other point of contact personnel for our customers.

Desert Jasmine Enterprises, LLC's General Manger, Gladys Smith-Duran has completed training through the SBA, including the GSA Pathway to Success Certification training.  We plan to apply for 8(a) Certification in the near future.  We are also currently seeking mentor/protegee relationships with prime contractors and/or teaming agreements with other small businesses. We are also seeking to secure a teaming agreement with other businesses that can secure net 90 contracts that require an outlay. We are not licensed as a real estate broker, for moving contracts that require this. We can only perform the janitorial services after the move. But we may be able to secure a teaming agreement with a real estate broker that would allow us provide more comprehensive services in the future.


Our Umbrella Company as a Small Business

Dragon Maintenance is an LLC, Desert Jasmine Enterprises is an LLC, OmniBIIOS Computer Services is a sole proprietorship. They run like a partnership of companies under our umbrella company, Access Income Property Builders, Inc. However, we also accept contracts under our separate entities. Access Income Property Builders, Inc., carries general liability insurance, for all three companies, as a construction contractor. Desert Jasmine Enterprise, LLC has its own general liability coverage for janitorial services and yard care, only. The initial points of contact for government contracts is Gladys Smith-Duran, who manages everything except handyman operations, computer related operations, computer services, and lawn maintenance responsibilities. For private sector handyman services, the initial point of contact is Tim Schwartz. A. David Duran, manages our company's IT concerns and lawn and garden maintenance responsibilities.

You can order each service independently, or as a package. So, if you want just the janitorial services, you may have just the janitorial services. As an added value we can also provide expert hypoallergenic janitorial services for our clients with allergies and asthma, and custom property management services for residential independent-living apartments for the elderly.  We do not yet hold any collected rent or deposits, do our own mechanical maintenance and repairs, or provide computer-aided facilities management.
